Job Purpose (Summary of major needs):

Responsible for management of a specific team of skilled technicians for planned and unplanned scaffolding activities for Client Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities (Technical):

1. Management

*  Key interface with Client Maintenance Supervisor to assist with the successful provision of Scaffolding services to all site operations, monitoring performance compliance and reporting on progress.

*  Update and maintain on site scaffolding register.

*  Ensuring that the Planned Work scope is managed effectively in accordance with agreed targets to avoid disruption.

*  Ensure that day to day requirements are met with regards Client, Tool Box Talks and onsite risk assessments.

*  Provide required detail so that SAP information can be updated with regards to scopes of work resourced, ongoing and completed.

*  Ensure that any faulty or damaged equipment is quarantined and details are reported to the Focal Point.

*  Ensure that all members of the team are focused on delivery of HSE and Quality plans.                                            

2. HSE

*  Direct responsibility for promoting a positive HS&E culture via strong safety leadership, ensuring all activities undertaken in full cognizance of the Client’s commitment to health, safety and the environment.

*  Ensure all necessary controls in place to minimize risk and/or eliminate hazards.

*  Proper knowledge about plant Hazard materials.

*  Must be aware of HSE rule and policy of Client.                             

3. Training

*  Attending the safety & technical training as per the schedule.

*  Identify the training requirement for supervisor and arrange as per schedule.

Education Degree : Diploma Engineering or equivalent

Education Major : Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 10 year of experience in refinery maintenance.
