To define and implement the short, medium and long term strategies to meet customers’ product quality expectations at minimum cost within the framework of the plant’s objectives and yearly action plans and to develop and run studies on product quality, optimization of performance and environment in the medium and long term plans

Run the process and quality departments in accordance with the annual and the long-term plans
Improve plant reliability and performance by optimizing the process.
Reduction of production costs by optimizing processes

Contribute to fuel cost optimization (optimization of lowest fuel cost) by ensuring (optimizing) process condition which allows a maximum utilization of fuel and raw materials.
Follows all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Define process optimization actions together with quality, production and maintenance; monitor the actions and the results.
Organize on a daily basis process inspections and review of performance.
Identify and conduct studies, tests and measurements within the process department in order to improve performance.
Ensure sensors accuracy.
Ensure the quality of the reported process data.
Ensure progress in control loop optimization and high-level automation
Ensure existence and correctness of procedures.

Supervise the work of the head of quality and making sure that the quality schemes and the standards are respected for the various products and that customers’ expectations are satisfied.
Analyse all figures out of the daily and other campaign inspection and tests, set conclusions and formulate recommendations

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8 years in cement manufacturing (Process and Quality) including 3 years in production
Knowledge of safety and environment regulations
Very good knowledge of cement manufacturing process
Good knowledge of quality aspects
Good knowledge of quarry issues
Good analytical skills
Data collection (trending, diagnosing, analyzing, reporting)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Knowledge in MS office / ERP system
English (reading / very good, speaking / very good, and writing / very good)
